For Love and Lemons Sustainability is Beautiful| Camellia Mini Dress Review

I have been loving For Love and Lemons for awhile and wished that one day they would introduce their fans with a sustainability line. When I found out that they launched their “Sustainability is Beautiful” collection, I got so excited and had to get my hands on their clothes.

Since their clothing style speaks to my personality so much, and I love wearing their dresses. From this Sustainability is Beautiful collection I bought two dresses and a bucket hat.

Today I am going to talk about one of the dresses, Camellia Mini Dress.

What I like about the Camellia Mini Dress

I love the design of this dress a lot as it is pretty whimsical and playful. It’s a perfect summer dress for someone who doesn’t like wearing bright colors.

I also love the puff sleeves, tiered ruffle hem, and tonal belt. The mix of floral and dot print perfectly designed and would be a good dress to wear for three seasons, spring, summer, and early falls.

The fabric is comfortable and has a little shine to it. Not exactly like satin, but imagine a cotton and satin blend. That’s the best I can describe it, and it’s made with 100% Recycled PET, which is amazing!

What I don’t like about the Camellia Mini Dress

I feel that the length of this dress could be a little longer as it is still short on my 5’4″ height. I am wearing a size medium here and I totally understand that it is a mini dress. But it can still be 1-2 inches longer if I could redesign it.

Also, I have a short torso which makes the shoulders of the dress came off of my shoulders often. The price of this dress is quite high too for being a mini dress, $198.

But overall I really love the dress and will work on the things I don’t like to make it work and worth the purchase. 🙂
